Womxn Who Rock

Womxn Who Rock is suspended as of Friday, March 13th until further notice.
Because of how difficult it is to be meticulous about hygiene, we want to reduce the risk and slow the potential spread of COVID-19 by taking a break from Womxn Who Rock. The most responsible thing we can do for our communities right now is take preventive action to slow the spread of Coronavirus so that our medical professionals aren’t overwhelmed. Please know that we take your and our communities’ health seriously and we hope that being (perhaps overly) cautious may help with managing the many unknowns we’re now facing. We will continue to evaluate options as more information becomes available, with our community’s health in mind.

On Thursdays, we will offer a Womxn Who Rock community group climbing session. The goal of the program is to build community by providing a safe and comfortable space for femme identifying persons to climb. We welcome all experience levels and especially encourage beginner climbers to join. Our hope is that more experienced climbers will coach and encourage newer climbers. We use an inclusive definition of “woman“ that explicitly includes the experiences of women of color, trans women, femme/feminine–identifying gender queer and non-binary folks, cis women, and any intersections of those experiences and identities.

  • Weekly meet up
