Isabella (she/her) got her roots in climbing 5 years ago at Drexel University when she and a friend decided to head to the climbing wall to give it a shot. Since then she hasn’t shaken the climbing itch and it has continued to play a key part in her life and career. She majored in Environmental Studies while in undergrad and when she’s not teaching youth how to climb she is out in the wilderness working as an outdoor educator. Isabella has bounced around from working in the backcountry leading trips like horse-packing in Wyoming to more recently teaching S.T.E.M. courses to local schools in the California mountains. She is back in Philadelphia and so happy to be teaching and coaching youth again about one of her most loved sports for such a wonderful community at Tufas!
